Dear Prime Minister,
Since July 2013 Australia has illegally detained and tortured Mr XXX XXX, the 115th asylum seeker on Manus Island, and his fellow detainees there and on Nauru. As Australian Prime Minister you, like your predecessors, must take responsibility for this violation of these asylum seekers' human rights. I support the actions of the groups of international and Australian lawyers who have asked the prosecutor at the International Criminal Court to take action against Australia for crimes committed in our offshore detention regime. It is appalling that Australia has refused to respond to its legal obligations and that you and previous Prime Ministers have not obeyed the previous legal actions by the United Nations and critical reports from humanitarian agencies. Save Australia further international condemnation and end offshore detention now.
Bring them here.
