PNG gets tough with Australia

Dear Prime Minister,

What will happen after 31 October for the refugees and asylum seekers on Manus Island and in PNG? The Post Courier reports that there is no formal agreement between PNG and Australia after 31 October. The PNG government has sent back the 31 Australians and will prevent entry of the 42 Fijians sent by Australia to provide security. The PNG Minister for Immigration and Border Security, Petrus Thomas, says that a 'durable solution' for resettling the refugees is the responsibility of Australia.

Does your government think it can just walk away and dump Australia's problem on PNG? Bring all refugees to safety and freedom now.
